Italian Market - Annapolis

These guys are killing it with product placement! I went here for pizza only and ended up leaving with 3 gelatos as well. ... I'm not a photographer and this isn't a staged display; this picture is just before closing on a regular week day, and it looked better in real-life than the picture shows.

So helpful! I was tasked with making a gift basket for a colleague's anniversary and was given a list of wines they liked... and I could barely pronounce. The wine manager was able to help pick out some wonderful wines at all price ranges. He was helpful and informative and didn't try to up-sell anything. He seemed genuinely happy to make suggestions.

My wife and I went in for an impromptu early week midday Date-day. This is by no means a fancy smancy restaurant. It's a cool spot to bring your significant other, friends, business associates, etc. The atmosphere was inviting while the food is on par with more traditional Italian restaurants. The service was great. The Gelato sealed the deal for me to return.

I went inside to order a deli sandwich from this place because they advertise “NY style deli sandwiches” only to make it to the counter and be told I can only order what’s on the menu. I asked if I can just have an Italian roll with turkey, salami, provolone, lettuce, Mayo and mustard. I was told just what’s on the menu again and that he could not make a sandwich with salami. That I could go to their deli counter to order it by the pound.
