Tucker Hill Inn - Waitsfield

The food was fantastic, but the server lacked experience. Our drinks sat empty on the table before our meal was served. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive after we had finished eating.

The Tucker Hill Inn was fantastic in every way! The food was delicious, especially the specials on the menu. They also have a great selection of creative cocktails and local beers on tap. Our server, Annalise, was incredibly friendly, sweet, and attentive. She assured us that it would become our favorite restaurant in the area, and she was right! We even considered coming back for a second night during our trip. A helpful tip: the upstairs is a quiet dining room while the downstairs is a lively pub. Both areas have the same menu, so you can pick the ambiance that suits you best. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

The restaurant serves delicious and generous portions of meat. There are a multitude of large meat jokes that could be mentioned.

The food is refined, thoughtful and delicious. The lobster ravioli and nocci appetizers were delicate yet sumptuous. We were a family of 5 and even tbough it was a charming, quiet Vermont restaurant it was lovely for the kids too. They have a good kids menu. The hand cut chicken fingers were delicious and real chicken.

The owner of this restaurant was incredibly sweet and kind. I particularly enjoyed the cookies they served at night. The only really good meal I had during my trip was breakfast. The rooms were rated a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 3. One standout feature of the hotel was the great view.
