フィードバックを提供するAfter waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes for our meal to arrive, we found the food to be okay but priced higher than it should be. With limited dining choices in the area, the restaurant may be able to charge more and still have a steady flow of customers. It's a decent option for a meal after a day of skiing, but be prepared for the wait and the cost.
The service was average, which unfortunately affected our overall experience. The salmon was overcooked and accompanied by only a few delicata squash pieces and a small amount of sauce. We were disappointed as we had higher expectations based on past visits for both service and food quality.
The Hyde Away has great atmosphere and an excellent staff. Derek was our server and his attention was timely and his recommendations were spot on
It was very hard to find a parking spot for our 5:30 reservation. Maybe it was the recent snow or it was the off the mountain ski crowd. A guest that was also staying at the B&B canceled their reservation because they couldn’t find a place to park. The starter took 45 mins to come out and our entree’s came out while we were eating our starter. The food was good and the staff was very nice.
The service was terrible. We waited 30 minutes for a dessert after finishing our main course, and then had to ask for the check, only to be given it 30 minutes later. We waited around for an hour in total. We decided not to eat there again and instead chose to dine at a nearby restaurant. It seemed like the waitstaff's behavior was intentional. We loved the ambiance and amenities at Hyde Away, and would happily stay at the Inn again, but we wouldn't have dinner there. The morning waitstaff was great, but the evening crew lacked proper service.
