But my best find was the custard like butter rolls..back to the brownie fingers, they seem to taste better after a few days. Ladies at the bakery are very happy and friendly also. Parking that day was good as I've heard at times you can't get into the parking lot. We were in and out in a matter of 5 minutes. Will come back if in the area again.
Made a Sunday pilgrimage to Wahiawa for the Mac Nut Chantilly Squares which are only available once a week and only until they sell out, which I've heard happens by around 1 pm. Everyone was here for these and at 12 noon there were only a few more of the nearly prepacked containers of 9 treats. There were also just three bags of brownie sticks left. Go early and go often!
Custard pie was good- call ahead to reserve what you want because they sell out quickly.
We stopped on Sunday, 1/30/22 afternoon. The bakery was an additional stop after we checked the cherry blossoms that are now blooming on California Avenue at Iliahi Elementary School and beyond the house after the curve in the street. We bought the delicious brownies and butternut cookies. You're the best. Only 2 persons allowed in the bakery at a time, so it can be a line when you get there. Hand sanitary station at the front door. Many free parking on site.
SO DELISH! They have that old school bakery feel and their pastries do too… reminds me of getting doughnuts as a kid. Everything is perfect, moist and can tell everything is made with love. Definitely a must!
