The Blue Heron At The Landing

The food is wonderful, and the portion sizes are quite generous. My wife ordered the stuffed chicken Coleman, while I went for the catfish. Both dishes were promptly served on the deck and tasted fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip. The staff was fantastic, and the food was delicious—fresh and vibrant. My catfish was absolutely phenomenal! I could rave about it for hours! Our server was incredibly friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We will definitely be back!

This is the best restaurant to visit if you're heading east from Willow Springs. I had the Crab Stuffed Filet, and it was absolutely delightful! The steak was cooked to perfection (rare) and was just right—not overcooked at all. We began our meal with a dish they called a Hillbilly something, which is more commonly known as a Bloomin' Onion, and it was delicious! We didn't have room for dessert since we were so full, but maybe next time!

3 stars for great location and nice service. Food however, was a whole different adventure. Menu looked very promising. Cat fish and fries were ok. Grilled shrimp was acceptable. We sampled few sides and all of them were bad. , Corn was frozen (in the corn season!!! , mashed potatoes were instant, mushrooms foamy and green beans felt like from an expired nuclear bunker supply stash. Stay away from the sides. It's quite unlikely we'll come back.

WOW! This is about as good as it gets. This quaint restaurant and hotel are snuggled deep in the Ozarks and right on the banks of the Current River. What a gem. Every hotel room opens out onto a balcony facing the Current River. Talk about scenery! This river is amazing. You get to see twirling shades of blue and green as they dance over rocks on their way downstream. The sound of the river alone is hypnotizing. You cannot possibly have a bad day if you wake up and this magnificent river is the first thing you see. The rooms are clean and they are all non-smoking, I think. Nothing but fresh air. The tubs are big and soothing. There is complimentary coffee in each room. There is also a mini-fridge and comfy big beds. You lack for nothing in this hotel. The food at the restaurant is incredible. Some of the best meals of my life have been at the Blue Heron. The chef is incredible and he knows just the right combination of magical spices. The menu is fairly extensive and there is a wide assortment of yummy dishes from which to choose. I come to this sleepy little town once a year. Gotta get my fill of this wonderful place. There is no better way to refresh than to stay here and eat. The servers have all been amazing. Customer service is top notch. The staff will do everything to help you have a pleasant and memorable experience. You will not be disappointed with The Landing and The Blue Heron! Great place!
