Tasty Fish And Chips - Taupo

This restaurant may not have the most charming atmosphere, but it more than compensates with its incredible flavors, affordability, and excellent service! While the interior is nothing to write home about, its location right by the lakefront is a plus. The fish and chips are absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh, and the service is impressively quick. I recommend trying their AMAZING pan-fried dumplings alongside your fresh fish instead of just the fish and chips—you won’t regret it! I’ll definitely be back soon!

Wow! This is how fish and chips should be prepared – light, crispy, crunchy, and bursting with flavor! We decided to stop by for some saveloy hotdogs since my husband misses them while living in Auckland, and we also enjoyed fish and chips with our puppy, who received a warm welcome. The fish was fresh and delicious, the chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and having real free lemons was just a fantastic bonus! The service was friendly, the food selection was great, and we will definitely be returning!

We visited this place during our recent holiday in Taupo, and the fish and chips were fantastic. I also really enjoyed the battered mussels. Everything was perfect—clean environment and great prices. I will definitely make it a point to try their fish of the day next time!

I would say that this place is the best fish n chips in Taupo. Everything is clean and everything is seasoned correctly. Just a delightful treat. We come here all the time.
