Piccolo Cafe - Taupo

My wife and I went to the Piccalo Café for a quick bite. from the moment we went, we were greeted by a warm and friendly service. we felt right away. we love places where the menu is uncomplicated and have good options for keto and vegetarian. the personal is knowledgeable about coffee and product. we ordered a panini and stuffed kumara with salat. the place was very busy, we received our food order within 10 minutes. we choose to sit outside as it was sunny. the tables were clean and tidy. this caffe has good seating in the open and in the inside. eating here is exceptional, very tasty and well prepared. great staff, big owner, big coffee. the atmosphere was cozy and beautiful, certainly my absolute favourite place as a native.

Soooo good! Food was beautiful, especially the rosti. Really good coffee, attentive and friendly staff and super impressed with cleanliness. When staff weren’t busy with customers they were busy with cleaning, so nice to know you’re eating somewhere with so much attention to detail. Will definitely be back!!

Great breakfast, nice free range eggs and the bacon was nice and tasty. The staff were super friendly and the price was very reasonable. The coffee was also very good.

The ambience was really nice visited today in the morning. Nice and friendly service. Over all it was good except the muffin in the Egg Benedict was quite hard. But it was alright.
