Catch 22 Traditional Fish And Chips

Well, I'm embarrassed to say but my wife and I accidentally ate it all before we could show off our lunch. Our only regret of the whole experience is that we didn't get two scoops!

Best Fish and Chips we've had since returning to New Zealand last year. We read the reviews and glad we ignored a few minor comments and experienced this for ourselves. The young lady working was amazing, friendly, tentative and her cooking was outstanding. We had Gurnard, Snapper, Scallops and Mussels with chips!!! Stunning

Good store with plenty of range options . Staff were most welcoming for us tired travellers . The snapper cocktails chips went down well I appreciate use of good oil the lemon chicken salt . The space invaders arcade game was a blast from the past ! Good food indeed , thank you .

Very delicious fish chips. Fish batter is just a thin layer n very crispy. Not many places in the world have this type of quality. No oil taste. But do check your order before leaving as they forgotten to give us our fried mussels otherwise all good.

The service is always incredibly friendly, the chips are my favorite in Taupo and always extra crispy as requested I highly recommend the extra crispy chips, since the new owners have taken over I have also become a fan of the fish, which if you weren't a fan of previously like I wasn't give it another try and hopefully your experience will be like mine extremely tasty.
