Edgewood - Stateline

5 star view, 2 star food. Was thrilled to try this place, but was mediocre, especially for the price. Bland and lack of creativity. For such a wonderful location it deserves so much better!

Great culinary experience and will definitely return on future trips to Lake Tahoe. If you appreciate good cooking, prices are very justified and the view from the restaurant itself is incomparable.

Beautiful views. The food was tasteless, portions were laughably small. The service was sub par! Food brought before the wine, we had to wait to eat. Never again. I dont mind paying for an expensive dinner if the food is worth it. We came home still hungry!

An excellent dining experience. Outstanding service. Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. Our meal courses were perfectly prepared. I highly recommend the Brandt Farms Prime Rib Mignon. We were celebrating our anniversary and the peach dessert presentation was amazing!

Dined here for our 35th anniversary. Our waiter Andrew was fantastic, first class. Edgewood is lucky to have him and we lucked out having him. We arrived on time promptly for our 5:15 reservation and the place was pretty much empty as expected that early on a Thurs night but oddly we got stuck at booth #31 so the sun was blaring in my eyes most of the evening and the view kind of sucked from the far right side. That table sucks! The food was outstanding but the chef couldn't nail a medium filet mignon, it was rare. We sent it back, Andrew couldn't have been nicer but it was still rare so we sent it back again! Finally it was medium but the entire dinner plate was reduced significantly including the sides. The elk medallions were done to perfection. The chef made a very nice gester comping us a magnificent desert, Thank you for that!
