American River Cafe - Stateline

Oh, my GAWD! That was AMAZING! Our waiter was brilliant and the drink lady held our soda so full!!!! The nativity and shrimp were so good and their BBQ sauce was delicious to the maximum!

Karla made our day start out great. She had such a good way about her. Even the drink kid seemed like he enjoys his job. Heather (manager) should be proud. And our breakfast was great too!

Went on 7/14/21. Prime rib and shrimp special was good. Came with plenty of shrimp. Didn’t take too long for food to come out. Server Mike was pleasant, funny, and attentive.

What a tale of two experiences we had! Last night, we enjoyed a delightful dinner where everything went wonderfully. Our waitress from the Philippines was exceptional, and the chef even came out to greet us since it wasn't too busy. However, this morning was a different story. Our waitress was quite rude when I requested spiced creamer, dismissing my request by saying that this place is stylish. Additionally, they could not accommodate our family of six by putting together two tables. Instead, they split us into two groups of four and two, which, while close, still felt disorganized. Rather than combining the tables we already had, they decided to dirty two new tables during the busy breakfast rush. It's hard to rate this less than four stars given our great experience last night, but this morning felt like an unorganized circus.

American River Cafe offers a delightful breakfast and lunch menu. The food is truly delicious. I tried the hot pastrami sandwich, and it was fantastic. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Our server, Naomi, was especially wonderful and ensured we had a great experience throughout our meal. I can’t wait to come back!
