Management is consistently dishonest, both over the phone and in person. Employees are frequently let go for various reasons. The kitchen is often closed during peak dining hours, and they struggle to keep basic products in stock. I suggest you consider dining elsewhere in Spicewood, Texas.

**Review of the Chicken:** When the chicken is fresh, it deserves five stars; however, if it’s not fresh, I’d rate it around two to two and a half stars. This is my absolute favorite fried chicken, and it surpasses any fast-food chicken options. Just a word of caution—it's at its best right after it’s been fried. You can call ahead about 15 minutes, or visit during lunchtime when they are cooking it up quickly.

The food here isn't bad for a gas station. I live nearby, and given the limited choices in the area, I'm really glad this place exists.

The two staff members I interacted with over the weekend were incredibly friendly and made my experience quite enjoyable.

This restaurant is conveniently located halfway when my wife and I visit my in-laws. The staff is always friendly, the food is served quickly, and they have a great selection, including options for kids like pizzas and other favorites.
