I also wish they give you a little more noodles because the set does not leave me full for the price. but it is a very popular lunch place for workers in the area so come around 11 when they open or wait in line after 11:30.
First time trying inaniwa st. udon and I loved it! some may say the portions are small here and I sort of agree. my friend and I ordered one portion of udon, geso age (fried squid) in appetizer size and a order of futomaki and they filled our stomach alright. too much rice in futomaki, but other than that, the food was great!
Very old Japanese traditional noodle house from Japan. You may enjoy popular Japanese dishes with sake or draft beer. But they don't pack the leftover.
Japanese Udon restaurant next to the city hall. Their main store is located in Tokyo and many of the chefs are from Japan as well. Selected as Guide de Michelin Bib gourment. This place serves Inaniwa style Udon, which is one of three famous udons in Japan. Inaniwa style Udon has thin noodles, which is the opposite from Sanuki Udon, the most famous Udon in Korea. The interior and the workers looks fancy. It feels like you are in a legit Japanese restaurant beside the music they play. They play J-Pop music, which doesn't matches with this restaurant.
Food is a bit salty. Noodle, rice and beef are good.
