El Maguey - San Carlos

I’m not sure why it took me so long to visit El Maguey, but I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff the moment I walked in. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is outstanding — truly authentic Mexican cuisine. I ordered tacos, and they were delicious, while my wife had the shrimp fajitas, which were amazing. She couldn't even finish her plate! They also offer a variety of salsas, each one tasting fantastic. This is definitely one of the best spots for Mexican food in San Carlos and Belmont. The only downsides are the limited seating and the parking situation. However, if you’re craving huge tacos, this is the place to be!

Conveniently located right next to the Caltrain Station, it's perfect for me to stop by on my way home from work. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food is consistently good. Plus, there's a TV that always shows football—what more could you ask for? Lol!

Have eaten a lot from here and the food is excellent taqueria style food. From their friendly line ordered inside and had delicious breakfast Burritos vegetarian, horchata and Peruvian cookies. Everything delicious to go with a rich selection of Salsas. No line in the morning.

The authentic Mexican cuisine here is amazing. The chicken tacos are a dependable and excellent option. The Salsa Bar, complete with unlimited tortilla chips and a great selection of salsas (mango being my personal favorite), is a wonderful touch.

The hard shell tacos with carne asada are great for merienda (afternoon snack). They come with cheese and sour cream. Order a side of guacamole to go with the free chips!
