Monkey King At The Brewery - Alameda

I rely on high octane to get my motor started. Getting consistently good brew can be a tricky business. The Beanery's espresso roast made it into the finals at this year's national coffee convention in Portland. Next time you're on Park St, stop by the Beanery order their 12 ounce, double wet cappuccino...it's the best on the island!

I hesitate to tell more people how good it is because I hate lines but people should know and it’s worth the wait. It’s the best coffee in town. Everyone who works there is great seriously everyone. The baguette with ham and Brie is just so freaking simple and good but if there’s only one left, please save it for me. :

Good coffee. Great food selection. Good energy. Recommend the panini and the grilled cheese. Seating out or in.

I love this place! I so value kind, friendly service and they are all about that here. I am just in town visiting and felt very welcomed. They have a good selection and several delicious gluten free options as well, which I truly appreciate!
