Side Wok Cafe - San Antonio

The American Chinese food here is quite good. We shared a dish of chicken and shrimp along with fried noodles and steamed rice. It was tasty and delicious. The portion size was generous for just $9.90.

They even prepared a fresh batch of rice noodles for me, and they taste fantastic. The General Tso's chicken and the orange chicken are both excellent. I like to order both and mix them together. The General Tso's chicken has a spiciness similar to buffalo sauce, which gives a slight clearing sensation in your nostrils, but it's not overwhelming. The staff is trilingual and very friendly. They also stay open later than other restaurants. I believe the owner is one of the cooks.
