Zilā Govs (blue Cow) - Riga Latvija

Excellent food, excellent service! Michelin, are you blind? Zilā Govs deserves a galaxy of stars! Their beef is a divine experience, cooked to a tender perfection that could convert a vegetarian faster than you can say T-bone steak . And the service? Let 's just say our waiter had us in stitches while dishing out recommendations sharper than a chef 's knife. If Riga beckons again, you can bet your last steak knife we 're heading back to Zilā Govs for another round of meaty magic!

What a delicious spot! We were a little dubious as to its location (very touristy part of the city), but the food was excellent as was the service. We sat outside on the patio and had a view of the square. We had the apple beet salad, this incredible pasta that had sundried tomato, and I had a prosecco elderflower spritz.

The food was 10/10, ordered stake, medium rare, it was on point. The cheese cake just melted in my mouth 10/10 again. Will 100% visit again.

Had a lovely evening meal at this restaurant whilst visiting Latvia with the Wales football team. My starter was the venison soup and my friend had the tomato soup. Main meals : Steak for my friend and pork ribs for me .Both were delicious! The young waiter was a credit to the restaurant he was ever so kind and welcoming. The price wasn't cheap but the experience and food was first class .

We (group of 7) stopped here for lunch after a morning walking tour of the city. The service was very friendly and prompt and our food arrived quickly. All dishes ordered were very good; my beetroot and apple layered salad with goats cheese was perfectly balanced in terms of flavours and beautifully presented. We had a portion of the Latvian garlic bread with garlic sauce to share very unusual, made from local black bread, but absolutely delicious and very garlicky! The server did bills for each of us separately without being asked, which was lovely,
