Very good food and service. We ate meat meals. Beef was soft and tasty just delicious! Cute little restaurant. Can recommend!

This was our first visit to Riga and we really enjoyed our meal at this cute restaurant. Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced too. Lady who served us spoke excellent English too. Would highly recommend

Came here due to the great reviews on this site. Really good interior in a cellar, mind your head on the way down. Quite small, probably 10 tables, but full of charm. I really liked it. The waiter/owner was so welcoming and very chatty and brought us our beers. So far, so good. I don't know if we picked the wrong food. The mixed starter was OK, and I really enjoyed the garlic rye bread. My main course, trout with hash browns came, 4 huge hash browns and a tiny portion of fish. I can't say I enjoyed it. My partner had the burger, she said the actual burger was not too dissimilar to a maccys. The bill was not too pricey and it's a really nice place. Maybe we just chose the wrong food.

Fantastic! Nice little space in the basement of a corner building maybe 10 tables in the room. I went with a hot balsam, which was delicious. Try one, and do yourself a big favor and order the garlic rye bread… I’m not normally a rye fan, but this was fabulous. For the main, I went with the pork fillet and was not prepared for how good it was. Absolutely delicious. Add the friendly service and good prices and you’ve got a great find!

An extraordinary experience!!! The service was super fast and friendly. They helped us really well in English. The food was exceptional excellent. No fuss, just straight and honest local food! We sat in the basement of the establishment and it had the best atmosphere! Definitely would recommend it!
