Visited this past Thursday. Ordered the Memphis rice bowl. It was disgusting. Full of gristle. Tried to struggle through it, couldn't. Waitress insisted that even though I sent it back after a few bites I had to pay anyway. She did offer a discount ... $3 (off of $18.50). What a joke. Terrible way to try retain customers. Won't be back.
Such kind great staff, good food and price on point!
Had the brisket w rice ..could of been hotter as I mentioned it was not very hot .. the rib soup was very hot and tasty ..
Catfish and smoked meat platter was really good! Was a real treat.
