Fiction Kitchen - Raleigh

This is my favorite vegetarian restaurant in Triangle! Somehow I visited the Fiction Kitchen 2 years in a row for my birthday and I loved it both times.

I wasn't sure about this place at first because vegan restaurants can be hit or miss.

Fiction kitchen is definitely my favorite spot in raleigh.

This is their temporary location until they move into new building. So the outside is very grey not green. I brought my daughter here for a Christmas gift extra while she was visiting me from Tennessee. She is vegetarian and was pleased. I took pictures of menu as best I could.

The Fiction Kitchen is now my favorite vegan spot in Raleigh. The globally inspired menu is creative and flavorful, with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I especially loved the Lion's Mane Rangoons, which was crispy and delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. We also got some mozzarella sticks for starters and some red wine. The noodle bowl and the curry bowl were great entree options and we also added the tofu as a protein on it. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting, with a bright and airy atmosphere. We visited their temporary location as they are rebuilding their old one. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer my questions about the menu. Tres Leches cake was just the perfect way to end the meal.
