I've been in Wake County for a long time now and had no idea this was right here. I had the ice cream on State's campus before, but it was really peaceful sitting out on a farm away from crowds eating ice cream made locally.

The ice cream especially Campfire is delicious. The workers, I think are students, but I stand corrected, are so nice and helpful. There are rocking chairs, regular chairs, both indoor and outdoor seating. Theres also plenty of space for picnics. We love this place!

Top notch service! Much quicker than expected! Icecream is the best I've had! Prices were reasonable as well!

Saw a story on a local news channel yesterday so, decided to try them out since we were going to Raleigh for my VA C P exam. Nice country feel in the area, not too far from husyle bustle of Raleigh and I-40 freeway. Good selection of ice-cream flavors. We both got a banana split, different flavors for each. Came with 3 scoops of diffrent flavors topped with whipped cream...my wife's choice came with 3 cherries on top, none for me I think they came out $15 for both? It's been a VERY long time since we had anything this good, for sure. Worth the drive DON'T ask me what we had...can't remember at our old age
