Macho´s - Puntarenas

Among the finest sea food restaurants! At first we thought it was a little expensive, but when we saw the size of the dishes we understood! It was more than worth it. Visit if you can, you won't regret it!

Legitimately one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The service was a bit slow and the ambiance is different but the food more than makes up for it. The presentation is a work of art and the seafood is the best I've ever had. It's expensive probably for locals but for westerners it's an absolute bargain. You owe it to yourself to eat here, it's mind blowing!!

From Puerto Viejo, La Fortuna, Monteverde, Jaco, Uvita, Tamarindo, and Santa Teresa, this is easily the best meal I have had in Costa Rica! Get the Marlin hamburgesa, you can't go wrong!

This place was a life saver. We got off the ferry and it was one of the few places open. It had parking by the street. It was a wonderful experience. They had a pretty good menu with fish, chicken and beef entrees. The popcorn chicken was well presented, as were all the plates. The service was great. Totally worth stopping for.
