Firehouse Subs Portage

Great food and service. Only the disadvantage is that prices have risen. Should not be $18 for 1 person lunch. It's still just a sub.

I was sad when the Merrillville Firehouse Subs was closed. It's good. Hot delicious sandwiches and good soups. It is along the line of a quiznos when these exist longer. A big step from Subway, but a similar concept. The atmosphere pays homage to firefighters. A bit expensive a medium, soup and a drink has $20.

Ordered a steak and cheese sub that comes with onion and peppers. Added x-onion, x cheese and x- meat. A-1 sauce also requested. I received very little onion and paprika. No cheese and no A-1. I'll never eat again!

Little expensive, but it is worth that their subs are very good clean restaurant and they get your order to you pretty fast I would definitely go back here

Not worth the money. The subs taste good, but they are TINY! $13 for a sandwich that is smaller than my hand w/ chips drink. There are much better options out there where you'll at least feel like you're getting a respectable amount of food for what you're paying.
