Leacock's Food Emporium - Orillia

We had a delightful and peaceful lunch by Lake Couchiching in Ontario, Canada. Dining outdoors under a canopy was a lovely experience. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious with tasty and warm coffee. It was the best summer lunch we've had in a long time. After lunch, we toured the museum at the house of Stephen Leacock and his family. The grounds and house were charming, allowing us to step back in time and see how they lived. The community of Orillia has done a fantastic job restoring the house, with events like weddings and parties held on the grounds and in the cafe dining rooms. We even saw preparations for a children's day with wagon rides, book readings, and characters from the books in costume. It's a lovely area to visit for both adults and children. ML & G.

It's a little pricey but decent! The staff is very friendly. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports events. It can get quite crowded during lunchtime.
