While this is something true, they are also wrongly classifying things for free. If you are not worried about cross-contamination, the few things they have are good. But I found the attitude of the woman I asked about gluten-free was less than pleasant. As a celiac for almost 20 years, I do not appreciate business owners trying to (unright) educate me about gluten. Save your money for Bakes by the lake!
Used to avoid some options for celiac disease, but no longer, so best, unless cross-contamination is no problem for you.
They are wheat-free not gluten-free. But they have the best bread. You can order before your visit to get the desired items. They're freezing. A must.
The wheat-free bread is great and I never had a problem. I tried the wheat free muffins and cakes a few times and got a reaction every time.
They make gluten free bread with no precautions taken. They have no options anymore for celiac. And their homemade pickles were even disappointing and were 8.00 for a small jar. Don’t waste your time. Sad but true
