フィードバックを提供するA gem in Ogallala! Despite being a bit hidden, don't let that deter you. The restaurant is filled with unique decor and artwork. It's a must-stop on your trip to Lake McConaughy or a quick bite while traveling on I-80.
I am a graphic artist with 15 years of experience in creating custom graphics and artworks. I called to inquire about custom mail orders and was met with extremely rude and unhelpful service. As a small business owner looking to expand my brand, I was hoping to discuss providing high-quality custom memorabilia, collectibles, and artworks for display. I recently moved to Ogallala to be closer to my children, and this negative experience has left me with a bad first impression.
My husband and I were traveling along the highway and saw a sign for this restaurant, so we decided to stop by. It is a one-of-a-kind museum. We had a great time visiting with Harvey and Howard Kenfield, who are incredibly skilled at creating stone and wood buildings. The rock samples and Indian relics on display were truly captivating. I highly recommend visiting the Petrified Wood and Art Gallery in Ogallala, Nebraska.
In my top places visited in nebraska. with expert, hospitable volunteers who love the opposite. the displays are amazing. an unforgettable collection of stoned wood and art made with it. also art of other artists. the gift shop is irresistible for this perfect gift or treat yourself.
This was the coolest, a little hard to find, it's tucked away in a corner behind a few buildings. Excellent art by the two brothers who started this collection/gallery and guest artists, lots of wildly fascinating pieces of petrified wood including explanations of where they came from and what makes them special. Staff was nice and helpful, there's a gift shop to take a few bits of art or fossils or petrified wood home with you! Very worth stopping by if you happen to be passing through the area.
