The Purple Hull - North Augusta

It was close to closing time so most items were gone. What was left was ok. Was hoping it would be better but, to me, just average.

We ordered via DoorDash and it was absolutely delicious. The food is seasoned perfectly, beef tips are tender, and the fried pork chop is excellent. Peach cobbler rounded out the perfect meal. Yummy!!!10/10

Food was good but pot roast was over cooked. Menu has changed from all the pictures, they have a bar you pick the meats from and two sides unless you want a burger or something similar.

Visited for the first time tonight and we will be back! Excellent food and service!

From the exterior to the interior I would not think this out of place at the local farmer's market, and the choice of food only encourages that depiction. A wide variety of desserts, sandwiches, and down-home cooking, makes this place an absolute must-try for anyone passing through the area. This is one of those places where you place your order at the counter and then seat to wait for the food to be brought to you, which I think adds to the charm.
