Pokey - Norfolk

I've dined here a few times, and each visit has been fantastic. The food is consistently fresh, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Plus, the service is remarkably fast!

The ramen here is absolutely delicious! It's a casual, no-frills spot. However, I wish the temperature in the restaurant were a bit cooler for those enjoying their ramen.

We came back two months later and again the food was fresh and delicious. Maybe the portions were a little bit smaller? Supplying a nice picture of the custom combo of poke.

Husband ordered out on a Monday when I was grumpy and needed sushi (needed might be a strong word, but hey! it 's how I felt! . Our go to spot is closed on Monday, so he came across Pokey. Wow! I was impressed!! He got a poke bowl that was fresh and delicious and I got what I think they call a pokey wrap , but what I identify as a sushi burrito (fellow misplaced San Diegans know . I was THRILLED sushi burritos have been pretty much a only when we go back to CA food, and I love them. I 'm so happy to find a great spot here in Norfolk! Can 't wait to try more of the menu

I used UberEats for this, so didn 't actually visit the premises. But the food was great! Exactly as requested. I highly recommend the 'create your own ' option. Healthy stuff, and a great selection. The home brewed iced tea is really good, and (at least via UE) the quantity of ice/sugar is selectable. I am here for a week, and have already ordered twice.
