Wow! First time here and will definitely keep coming back! Aa soon as you walk in the door, the staff welcomes you. Food was AMAZING. Meats, sides and sauces...can't say enough. All good!

The BBQ was delicious. I would highly recommend trying the ribs and chicken. Also, the portion sizes were huge.I was very impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and caring. They saw we had young kids and let us know what was spicy or may be spicy.I would highly recommend trying it.

To start off, I am not a big bbq eater. Most bbq places over flavor their meat to cover up dry, overcooked or recooked meat. Sides are old tasting not fresh and flavorful.Then there is Taste of Texas. All I can say is WOW! Every bite was better than the last. The meat was super tender and was not drowning in some over flavored sauce. In fact it had no sauce pre mixed in, yes that’s right “no sauce” the meat was flavored to perfection with choices of different bbq available on the side. My fav was peach heat. I had the bbq ribs platter while my wife got the pulled pork. The rib meat was amazing. The pulled pork was tender and juicy and the sides were just as good. Some of the best collards in VA. I could go on and on but this review is already to long. If you’re ever in the lynnhaven area of Virginia Beach you have to check this place out.
