Aklo Cafe - Nijvel

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed the curry rice, but it was a bit too spicy for my taste. I would love the option of a milder version with the same ingredients. They offer tofu, a variety of vegetables, and the iced tea was delicious. The staff were also very friendly.

If you ask to eat vegan they can make you a dish of vegetables jumped with garlic with rice. That was delicious. Another option was possible. Super friendly and very sincere staff to give you something really vegan.

The place is very nice and spacious and tofu dishes really excellent Nothing to say negative. Especially since they gradually shift towards zero waste. It is a franchise that can also be found in the Grand Prés de Mons and in the centre of Charleroi among others.

We waited for over an hour between our appetizer and main course. They completely forgot to bring our food because when I inquired about our main courses, they arrived in less than 5 minutes. The dishes seemed to have been reheated in the microwave. The staff was not very accommodating, and we had to request a discount as compensation. Even then, we only received a 10% discount. I would not recommend this restaurant if you can avoid it.
