Hubby ordered the special burger meal for 13.99 which consisted of their signature burger, Caesar salad and a blueberry pie. The burger was better than he expected but not the greatest one he's ever had. The salad was okay but the blueberry pie was delicious and more than enough for two people to share. I had the Mediterranean chicken burger with coleslaw and an upgrade to yam fries for 13.99 and 2.49 for the upgrade. The chicken burger was one of the best I've had in a long time. Nice grilled piece of chicken with seasoning, feta cheese, cucumbers, red peppers, taisiki sauce. It was Wonderful! The yam fries were nice and crunchy but the coleslaw was very warm. All in all it was a decent meal. The waitress was pretty good, food took a while to come out but it was dinner rush.We would go back again.
I have been going to White Spot since my teens, which is over 50 years. Many changes over the years from a "Drive In" to the current restaurant/drive in concept. Met my brother for late lunch (2:30) pm at the White Spot near the Ferry Terminal. Walked in and no one there to greet. Finally after about 3 minutes someone came and took a family in front of us to their table. It then took another 4 minutes for them to come back and take us to the table. Ordered our lunch and all fine but no one came back to check on us and both of us needed fill up for our soft drinks. Finally saw someone who said they would make it happen but nothing more for another 5 minutes. Server ALWAYS asks if we need anything further, more fries etc. but NOT here. Bad Management at this location
Went for brunch with a friend. I had the eggs, sausages, and their wonderful hash browns. Eggs cooked to perfection, delicious sausages and hash browns. Friend had the Benny...also delicious. Will go there again.
The restaurant was not full, but the service was slow. The quality of the meals was not what I would expect from White Spot - the burgers were plain, not enough sauce or toppings. The kids' macaroni was very small and dry. Not worthwhile.
My Granddaughter and I went to the restaurant in the middle of a very hot afternoon, inside it was cool, not busy at all, so a table was readily available. After carefully looking through the menu and hearing about the 'Specials of the day' we both still went back to our all time favourite a toasted shrimp sandwich, one with never ending fries and one with a salad, and always they didn't disappoint, in fact I took 1/2 of mine home and ate it later for supper, it still tasted good. So thanks again White Spot, always reliable what ever the meal, I can recommend their fish and chips too, delicious. We will, of course, be back.
