Cold Front Gelato - Nanaimo

The ice cream at this restaurant is delicious and the scoops are a decent size. The single scoop comes with two flavors and is worth the price. I tried the Nanaimo bar flavor and loved it. Be sure to sample the flavors before ordering to ensure you get what you want. The restaurant is very busy on Sundays and there is not enough seating available.

The best ice cream in Nanaimo. Cool flavors and great taste. The hot white chocolate matcha drink is also something you should try.

The restaurant offers incredible flavors, has welcoming staff, and a lovely atmosphere! Unfortunately, we were unable to sample their homemade cones as they were all sold out.

It was good! Their flavors are pretty unique I'll say. I got the Blackberry Lemon Pavlov and it wasn't super sweet, but they really made the lemon taste like a real lemon and not some fake sugary lemon. Same with the blackberry. Thats how I determine whether people actually put care into their food. When it tastes real. It was a tart treat that I'd love to have again sometime. I would however suggest making the cones a little smaller in the middle so when you scoop the ice cream in, it will fill to the top instead of just sink in and have the rim of cone surrounding the scoop. Just for photography purposes maybe.

The pistachio gelato was incredibly tasty. It had a smooth and creamy texture. A definite must-try!
