Troller's Fish & Chips - Nanaimo

Nice floating restaurant at the port. Very good salmon fish chips with a beautiful light scatter. The young man who brought our food to the table was incredibly friendly and helpful!

Family dinner, overlooking fresh seafood, group ordered all different items salmon, halibut, cod and oysters. Salmon over boiled, Halibut tasted like cod, and oysters underboiled. Besides the Pommes it wasn't a good lunch. Service was good!

I don't know if the cook was new or what, but the fish I ordered was boiled and the bread was also boiled. made the whole meal - I could not even finish the n=,Meal. The server was polite, but b that was it. The fish had no taste and was clearly undercut. NOT TO go there again, not at these annoying prices and not for this lousy service

We ordered 1 salmon and 2 haddock for $90. With $90 dollars you could buy a month's worth of groceries. We waited around 2 hours, like what hell, it doesn't take that long to cook fish. When we finally got our fish, it tasted like...a normal fish and chips, nothing special at all. In fact, the next day, we went to a different fish and chips, they were also really busy, but we got our fish in 5 minutes. Horrible scam, I do not recommend.

The worst crabcakes hands-down and I am from the Prairies. There was no crab just big chunks of potato. It was totally flavourless and there was so much potato that it wouldn’t even hold together. The takeout service was super slow.
