The Asteras - Nanaimo

I'm not usually the type of person who cares about service, but WOW I was blown away by the service hereSo friendly and caring, fast and polite.

This beautiful restaurant is situated in NanimoIt's on a beautiful block that has an old world charm.

Our "go to" restaurant in NanaimoGreat food, awesome servicemenu is small but perfectly complete.

We had dinner at this restaurant recently and the food was very good. the calamari and greek salad were excellent. the evening we were there it was very warm outside and the restaurant was also quite warm. the service was good except that our server put our bills together rather than asking us if we would like to pay separately, which was a bit odd considering we were 4 women out for dinner. generally a good experience tho - mostly because the food is delicious :)

Owner Peter is always on hand to greet you and make you feel special. The place is always packed, rain or shine, which speaks for itself. The food is authentic, and consistently tasty and nicely presented. You may even be rewarded with a delicious house dessert to share, on the house!.
