Ricky's All Day Grill - Nanaimo

We ordered fish and chips: one-piece and two-piece fish with coleslaw and fries. Very good. The other three in our party ordered salads and chicken and also gave their meals a hearty thumbs-up.

We were staying at the Days inn and went for breakfast. Service was slow but we were in no hurry. Food was really good. Bob had the Benny 's and was really pleased. I had the Healthy Omelette and it comes with fruit as well was really good. Nice decor, nice view, nice and clean, good value for the price.We went back after supper for a couple of drinks. Prices were fair. Amber- a server- topped it off. Very outgoing, very friendly, made our visit great. The other three girls were friendly but not outgoing.

The restaurant was not busy. It took a rather long time for the server to take the order and for her to come by to refill the soda drink. The food was good, but the service is poor. My husband wanted to give the place two stars, but I liked the food which is the most important part.

Always a great place for breakfast, and never as busy as the location in the north end of town. Nice views and friendly service too!

Well you know minus the huge pain to get in and out, I love coming here. As outsiders coming to Nanaimo, when we come here we want good food , good portions, at a good price. Staff are friendly . What more can I say
