Giovanni's - Munster

Absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered from the drinks, the appetizers, the lobster bisque soup, to the rib eye steak,,, SOO DELICIOUS. Atmosphere was lovely , we went on Saturday evening so they have piano playing, you don’t want co to leave and the service impeccable. We will be back! Special 72oz steak $40!!!!! WOW

The food and service were outstanding. The portions were generous, and the final bill was very reasonable.

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. It had a promising start; the staff was polite and welcoming, and our server was fantastic. The drinks and appetizers were good, and the garlic bread was excellent. Unfortunately, the main dishes we ordered fell short. We all opted for the prime rib, which I always like cooked medium rare, but for some reason, they don’t serve it below medium. I’ve never encountered that before. I also ordered a lobster tail, but I’ve never seen one quite like this—it was in chunks instead of being solid, and it tasted more like paste or tartare. The prime ribs were tough and dry, and it honestly felt like they just reheated leftovers from the previous day. That might explain why they don't serve it medium rare, and it certainly didn’t look fresh. So, while I can't recommend this place for steaks, the drinks and appetizers are worth a try.

Awesome service by Maggie, this was my first time there. She offered any assistance if needed. She was very energetic, enthusiastic, helpful. It was also my birthday and she surprised me with a birthday canoli. After our meals she brought out the dessert tray, quite the salesman. I fully intend on going back.
