Schoops Hamburgers - Munster

This place is classic and has been a family favorite my entire life. The crispy edge burgers are massive and delicious, and even the simple things like egg salad are great.

There's a reason your there for so many decades just the best place

The Munster Schoops has been going downhill for awhile now. There's a big turnaround in servers and the food is becoming less than par even though prices have gone way up. My husband and I were there Sunday for lunch and despite not being very busy we waited a long time to get our chili only to have our entree come out a minute later. The burger was cold and I didn't want to eat my chili with the burger. I was never asked about or given a refill on my drink and when I asked at the register who the manager was the girl didn't want to tell me. When she asked how everything was and I said you don't wanna know she just laughed and said ok. $8.49 for a cold, dry hamburger is way too much. I'm rethinking Munster Schoops.

The server was friendly, attentive, and prompt. The burgers were big and tasty, and one order of fries feeds two. The price is pretty good for a high-quality berger.
