フィードバックを提供するThis is the second time we have dined at Martino’s. The experience and food was better than last time. The strengths was the salad that accompanies the entrees. The bread was warm and fresh. The chicken in the chicken Marsala was tender and the mash potatoes were flavorful. The dish came with a hefty amount of mushrooms, too much for my taste. Although well portioned, the Marsala sauce was very thin and sweet. Would prefer more of the standard variety. The vegetable was squash which I liked but would prefer a balanced medley of broccoli, squash, and carrots. Pork tenderloin was chewy and rubbery. For the prices, the chef needs to develop a signature dish that one wants to go back for. One can go to Josephine’s in Flagstaff and spend the same amount and get a very memorable meal. Not at Martinos. At least not yet. I hope it continues to improve dishes. And last, the waitress brought our salads out immediately but it took another 45 minutes to get the main entree. Others in their reviews have commented on this as well so it seems like it is a long standing problem.
Service was poor. Food was below average. They were way understaffed and couldn't keep up with the clientele. They were out of many items. The special I had was lobster ravioli and it didn't taste right. It took us 20 minutes to get menus. They brought bread and butter to the table and we had no utensils, napkins or plates. They did however have this grilled Caesar salad that was amazing.
Our server Liz was fantastic! I highly recommend the veal marsala.
Every good food and service for my birthday dinner that the staff helped me celebrate.
Perfect atmosphere for our group of friends. Very inviting and relaxing.
