Nicks West Side - Sedona

After a recommendation from a local we decided to give Nick's a chance. Turns out, it was a fantastic decision! Fast service, amazing food and friendly staff make for a family fun filled dinner. The brisket and guiness burger were delicious. Kids also had ribs on the kid menu.

Come here for a classic diner experience! We enjoyed the eggs Benedict and steak and eggs. Service was good, casual and homey.

While all the staff was very friendly (almost overly), the food needs improvement! They make a big deal about their 500lb smoker, but the brisket we ordered had NO flavor whatsoever, and there was no smoke ring around the exterior of the meat. You DO have to add wood to the smoker for it to do it?s job! I don?t think they know what they?re doing. We also ordered some fried pickles and onion rings. The pickles were cut lengthwise instead of the normal crosscut, and the breading did not stick very well at all. Both the pickles and onion rings were very greasy, and had the faint taste of fish? an oil change and the correct temperature would help. They also serve breakfast and have several Mexican dishes on their menu, so I hope that?s better?!? Too bad, because they have a great location and could be shoveling in the if they got someone on staff who knows how to cook!

Food is fresh and the service is fast and pleasant. Portion size is a little small but let's be honest that is probably for the better. Got the Greek and a pancake with hashbrowns. Delicious ? . Wasn't sure if the corn was going to taste good in the Greek. I was incorrect. Will definitely be coming here again.

The food was amazing! Too much for me to finish. And believe me when I say that NEVER happens. The staff was kind, quick and attentive! I?m just sorry this is our last night in Sedona! We will be back to Nicks on our next trip here!
