Oriental Hut - Mountain Grove

I ordered chicken but ended up with plain fried rice, spending $25 for two takeout dinners that were just plain rice. I requested the chicken be cooked fresh, but the staff seemed uninterested when I asked about it. The chicken tasted like it had been double-fried, and the meal overall lacked seasoning. There was no sweetness and no chili in the General Tso's chicken. I really wish someone would open a truly authentic Chinese restaurant. I haven't eaten here since the pandemic began, and tonight's experience reminded me why. It feels like they are just going through the motions, focusing on making money rather than delivering quality.
