El Imperial - Cabool

I'm a native Texan and love Mexican food. This little business in Cabool, Missouri--not far off the Interstate--is well worth the exit. Around since the early 70s, it serves truly authentic Mexican dishes. Best refried beans, rice (no throw aways with these) and homemade tortillas I've ever had! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

This has been one of my fav since I was a kid. I love the food and the gracious owner Mercedes. She put her heart in the retutaunt, and it shows. Put it on your list next time you're in Cabool Parking: The store front is on main street downtown. Parking is in front of her establishment.
