Mermaid Restaurant And Sports Bar

The Mermaid may not look particularly impressive from the outside, but it boasts an event center featuring two ballrooms. We chose the Coral Bay Ballroom, which has been recently renovated, and it was stunning. It was the perfect venue for a wedding reception that was easy on the budget! We had to meet a minimum food/building requirement with their catering company, but it was not an issue for us. Natallia was our coordinator, and despite some email delivery glitches and the added challenges of COVID, she made sure everything went smoothly for us. For instance, when the buffet menu prices increased after we booked for next spring, she honored our original pricing without hesitation. She also created a layout for us, placing all tables, character curls, and gift/card stations exactly where we wanted them. The room came equipped with linens, cutlery, and napkins, which was a great help, and we were able to order appetizers for the cocktail hour. While we did not utilize the bar, I know there were numerous options available. The food was delicious, and our guests truly enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful family outing! There were plenty of games, the bowling was fantastic, and the food was excellent too! The space was quite large, making us feel like we had ample room for our family.

I went to the Mermaid with the young crowd for New Year's Eve, and we had a wonderful time. The bowling experience was fantastic, and everything was spotless. The service at our table was exceptional. They also have a small arcade area, which my kids really enjoyed! We don't bowl often, but when we do, we always choose the Mermaid because it has 28 lanes.
