The Anglers Arms - Morpeth

Beautiful country pub with good food, especially Sunday dinner.

Unfortunately the quality of food was poor. Badly presented, wet fish n chips with undercooked chips and a poor quality burger. We have eaten here before and had good meals but not this time. The service was good and the restaurant cosy just let down by the quality of the food.

We booked The Anglers Arms last minute before NYD and all of us were so incredibly impressed with everything. Everything from the service as soon as we walked through the door, the attentive staff and the gorgeous food, there’s something for everyone even on Sundays. Despite it being busy, it was still a calm atmosphere with brilliant lighting and it was immaculately clean. All 5 of us can’t wait to come back already!

Lovely family meal here yesterday. Great food, comfortable, friendly surroundings and excellent service. We will certainly be back.
