A perfectly fried egg is so hard to find nowadays. So many places burst the yolk or undercook it leaving the white snotty. The fried eggs here are as good as the ones I cook myself

Lovely and homely place to pop in after a long walk. Staff are great and welcoming. My partner had the ‘Mince onion pie, with chips, peas and gravy. He was quite pleased with the quality, especially for the price. I had the ‘eggs Benedict’ which had a healthy amount of everything. Really happy we stopped here.

Great cafe, fast and friendly service and good food. I would give 5 stars but the Heinz ketchup bottles were filled with some cheap red sauce probably out of a 5L container behind the counter. If it ain't Heinz, don't pretend it is !

Wonderful start to the day with amazing local produced and cooking to perfection. Just what the Blue Crayon team needed before spending the day ahead scouting for Festival location for the 90’s boy band legends Magic Dave Martindale and Keyboard Kye on their come back tour with new material and of course their number on hits colour me blue and Smurf’in. Clean and basic cafe with great food freshly prepared and served by two courteous youngsters. Will definitely call back next time we are in the area.
