The Old Grog - Menasha

Had Friday night bluegill , deep fried perfectly with light batter. Baked potatoe moist. Cold beer , what more could you ask for old Wisconsin bar. Had to sit at bar because tables were full or would have gave 5 stars

This was the first time I tried GROGS. I had a Prime Rib sandwich and my daughter had Chicken and mashed potatoes. Both were EXCELLENT. the size of the prime and price were perfect. A person wrote it was too thin...it was much bigger than the roll. If any thicker...it wouldn't have been for a sandwich The seasoning was perfect. I will be going back as often as I can. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Stopped to meet with a friend. Great atmosphere, great bartender. I ordered a prime rib sandwich. It was delicious, but lost a star on how incredibly thin the piece of meat was! Still good though. I'd go back!

Service was good, my friends chicken was decent, the pizza burger was not good. It was a mess and the cheese was not melted. My son ordered the mushroom swiss burger medium rare and it was well done. The water tastes like it came straight from a well or the river??

Love this place!! The prices are amazing. Check was so low, I thought they made a mistake. The specials are great. The beef tips were made perfect. The service was fast and super friendly. That's exactly what I want in a WI-bar/restaurant.
