フィードバックを提供するThe restaurant lacks any distinct flavors and offerings. When I inquired about menu items, the staff simply looked at me and replied that they didn't have what I was asking for. When I asked, "What do you have?" their response was, "We don't have anything." If that's the case, why have a menu at all? After my questions, they just returned to their conversation, seemingly uninterested in serving customers. It felt like a place where employees are paid to chat rather than work. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.
I've tried to buy ice from this location three times now, and I have to say I'm really disappointed. I love Rita's, and since returning to Maryland, I've been craving it. I even signed up for their Cool Alerts to be notified when my favorite flavor is available. Unfortunately, my experiences have not been great. The first time I visited, I was told that my desired flavor wouldn't be ready for another 20-30 minutes, despite it being advertised on their website. The second visit was just as frustrating; I was informed they didn’t have the flavor at all, even though I had received an email from their website confirming its availability. On my most recent visit, I found the store completely empty except for one person sitting at a table eating. There were no employees in sight, either hiding in the back or possibly having left the store unattended. Given these repeated issues, I won’t be returning to this establishment again.
Rita's is fantastic! I really enjoy their cotton candy ice and vanilla custard.
How do you screw up Rita's? Our family loves Rita's, so we came by this store in Laurel after the first day of school. Our visit became a test of patience, they were out of peanut butter cups (how do you run out of peanut butter cups? then their peach custard wasn't working, and their twists weren't working, and they didn't have waffle cones. We had to ask them what they actually had so that we could get something. Then there was the service, the two employees seemed uninterested in serving us, and considering the amount of items that they were out of, they made no effort to provide us with alternatives. We asked them to make us a small cup only half full for our 20 month old, they just made it the regular size. I asked for a strawberry concrete with brownie bites and they made it with cookie dough. And it was just easier to eat the gross concoction than to deal with them any longer. We are going to continue to go to Rita's, just not this one.
One of the young ladies that works there had her loose and it kept getting into our gelati. This review isn't to call her out but Rita's I would suggest possibly some form of hair covering for your staff...
