Rodeo General Store - Makawao

Excellent selection of local foods, treats souvenirs. Most remarkable is the quality of food in the deli. Loving my smoked tuna salad for brunch today. Many delicious vegan options, including zalad soups. Come support small business and load up on local goodies to enjoy here bring home to share.

Cute general store that carries a small range of produce and other groceries, aimed at tourists here for short stays. Extremely expensive $5 for a snack pineapple, $4 for a box of Kirkland Signature oat milk) but they stock a lot of local brands and have a prepared foods section!

Plenty of selection for a small store. New owners seem to be turning the store in a healthy direction. Very low staff turnover is a good sign. A solid spot to grab your staples in Makawao

Buy one of their hot sandwiches!! They are amazing.

I stopped into Rodeo and felt it was smaller than other places. They carry a lot of typical vegetarian/vegan items, but the choices were limited. They also did not have the vegan baked goods (as advertised on their banner outside) the day I stopped in so I was slightly bummed about that. However, they did have a lilikoi coconut almond tapioca pudding that was pretty darn good! I'm a tapioca fanatic, so I was quite happy to find this.
