When I placed my order, I said, I want 2 McDoubles and that will be all. What I saw come up on the screen was 1 McDouble and the person on the speaker stated what the cost was. I repeated, 2 McDoubles not 1. The order was changed and the new total of $4.23 was stated to me. I don 't know about you, but the number 2 does not sound anything like the number 1 to me. Next, I went to the window to pay for my order, I gave the cashier a $20.00 bill and what I received for my change was a ten, a five, one quarter, and two pennies. $4.23 from $20.00 leaves $15.77 as my change, not $15.27. When I told the cashier that she gave me the wrong change, she looked at the coins in my hand and picked up a quarter from the inside window sill and placed it in my hand and closed the window. I had to get her attention again, and again I showed her the coins in my hand and told her this is not the right change. She then said in a very curt tone, I have other customers, so you have to go to the other window! I told her that I was not going anywhere until you give me the correct change. She then closed the window and walked away. A few moments later her manager came to the window and asked what was the issue. I told her that my order was $4.23 and I did not receive the correct change, and I opened my hand to show her the coins that I had received. Before I could finish what I was saying, the manager wanted to see my receipt, so I gave it to her. She looked at the receipt and said that she would have to countdown the register, I asked her to repeat what she said, and she again said that she would have to countdown the register. I did not understand why she would have to do this for such a minor issue, but, okay. She closed the window, opened the cash register and took the cash drawer and a long receipt from the cash register and walked away. A few minutes later, she returned and stated that the cashier does not have any extra money in her register, so I will have to look at the video to see what happened, but I cannot do that now. I said, look at the video, for what, my coins were supposed to be $0.77 not $0.52. The manager then seemed annoyed and turned to the register and opened it, took out what seemed to be several coins and was about to hand them to me in a very angry manner. I stopped her, and said, I don 't need all of that, you owe me 1 quarter. The manager opened the register again, slammed the change into the drawer and took out a quarter and finally gave it to me. I then went to the pick-up window and got my burgers and left. What I don 't understand about any restaurant in today 's world, I why would you have a person taking customer 's orders who does not have the language skills to understand the menu items or what the customer is saying. Also, why would you have a person on your register who cannot count or make change? Even when the register tells you exactly what the change is supposed to be, you still have to be able to put the correct bills and coins together. On top of all of that, you get an attitude with the customer because you and your employee made a mistake, why? I am very tired of being short changed at restaurants, especially drive-thru windows, and that is why I never move an inch until I count my change, every penny of it. It seems that we have moved into an era where there is no actual customer service or attention to detail. Everybody wants high prices and to demand huge tips, but nobody want to provide basic customer service, something as little as giving the customer their correct change. I won 't accept the wrong change and you should not accept it either.
I just left 9/23 ordered a chicken sandwich combo, I get home to eat my food. I bite into the sandwich the chicken was hard and was not able to bite into the sandwich. The chicken was fresh but the quality of chicken you all use is not good or real chicken. Chicken comes apart when you bite into it. I just wasted my damn money.
The younger guy who gave me my food had a great attitude, just wanted to show my thanks.
I had a really nice experience at McDonald's today! I don't eat out often and usually pick other restaurants when I do, but I had a hankering for a double quarter pounder with cheese. I got the seaonal pumpkin pie, too. Both were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Great service at this location as well! I am still getting the hang of the ordering kiosk. It's nice to be able to request no onions and extra pickles!!!Highly recommend!!!
This place is exceptional and wide, the menu was enchanting and the prices were very cheap. fast, productive service and very attentive waiters. Recommended.
