Kings Bridge Bar & Restaurant

We dined at this restaurant for both breakfast and dinner during our stay in Launceston. The location was fantastic and the service was excellent. The dinner and breakfast dishes were delicious, although the coffee could have been better.

During our vacation, my family and I stayed at the Penny Royal Inn and ended up visiting the Kings Bridge restaurant three times. First, we went for breakfast where my wife enjoyed delicious eggs Benedict and I had a crab and brie omelette which was packed with crab meat and tasty brie. The next day, we returned for dinner and despite it being a busy Friday night, the staff found us a table for our family of three (including our 2-year-old son). The service was prompt and friendly, with the staff even providing crayons and paper to keep our son entertained. The food was excellent, with my steak cooked perfectly and my wife's pork belly with crispy crackling being a standout dish. We enjoyed live music in the pub area and stayed for a drink after dinner, joining the friendly locals who frequented the pub. On our last day in Launceston, we returned for lunch and were once again impressed with the smoky pulled brisket and fantastic Caesar salad. If you're in the area and looking for a quality pub meal with great service and a good selection of beer, be sure to stop by Kings Bridge restaurant.

Really good food, excellent serving sizes for the price. Really friendly staff and overall beautiful atmosphere. Steak cooked to pronounce perfection! Great place for a couple or a larger group to celebrate.

Excellent pub and friendly service. The cheese and charcuterie plates ordered and very satisfied. came back the next day and got some loaded pommes. Good drinks also

I love some beers here. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere in the place is amazing. especially at night. Many places that eat inside or outside during the day. I had a meal there for a while, but from what I remember it is good quality portion food. Good place to bring children. Parking can be a problem around dinner due to another restaurant nearby. Go early enough and your set. A stop for a bite or a beer.
