Brady's Tavern At Penny Royal

Unfortunately, the Iron House was closed on the day we visited. However, The Penny Royal is an incredible destination! Nestled in the natural rock beside the Cataract Gorge, it offers stunning views. After enjoying some fantastic activities there, we headed to the Josef Chromy winery, where we learned that Josef had purchased The Penny Royal a few years ago and turned it into the attraction it is today!

We had a delightful birthday lunch here with our brother and sister-in-law. The tasting paddles of beer were excellent, and the wine was also very good. The food was perfect for a relaxed grazing experience, offering plenty of variety and options for the kids. The prices were quite reasonable, and the staff were lovely. We will definitely be returning!

The atmosphere was fantastic, the beer selection was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. I’m looking forward to returning soon; I can definitely see this becoming my go-to spot for drinks.

Friendly service, great beer recommendation (wheat beer I had) and platters are good value too. Great for a group gathering.

Great food and drink selection and friendly, helpful staff. We had a really great reunion function with a lovely atmosphere.
