Jersey Mike's Subs - Lakeland

Nothing bad, nothing that good either. Just average. Not being a jerk at all. Just being honest. Thanks for the friendly service though. Needs more bread selections would help a little bit. ONE LOVE

Sitting at the North Lakeland store. 2 employees in training, 1 working and 2 goofing off. One of the 2 goofing off took my order (birthday boy on Thanksgiving day) and forgot to give it to the cook. Friend comes in and the two goofing off and guy ensue in a personal conversation. Then we wonder why places lose business. First and last time in a long time.

This is definitely the best Jersey Mike's Subs I've ever visited. Andrew has fostered a fantastic work environment, and every employee was a pleasure to engage with. Andrew even took the time to chat with us for about 20 minutes, and we had an enjoyable conversation about how wonderful of a place he has created here. Customer service is truly alive and well at this location. If anyone has anything negative to say, it probably means they didn’t take the time to speak with Andrew, who I’m sure would address any concerns fairly. The food is consistently delicious, and they always prepare the subs just as I request. I will definitely keep coming back!

I also asked for a bit of oregano, salt, and pepper, and she ended up covering all the ham with pepper instead. It was hard to believe she wasn't listening to my requests and seemed quite uninformed. When I inquired about drinks, I found out they only offer sweetened or unsweetened tea. I asked if they had sweetener, but was told they had stopped ordering it, even though there was a whole bunch of pink sweetener right next to the tea. The staff member with dark hair and glasses was not friendly or accommodating at all. Overall, this visit was not satisfactory, and I won't be returning to this location again.

I grew up in New York and frequently visited the Jersey Shore, where I often enjoyed Mike's sandwiches. So when it opened here, I was eager to try it. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed. While the service and flavor were good, the sandwich was ruined by the fact that the bread is nothing like the original.
